Profile Feature: Community Leader Moses Tshabalala
BY FIONA MABUZA MR. TSHABALALA For more than twenty years, Moses Tshabalala, a devoted community leader from Tembisa, has been a ray of hope for many locals. He is 51 years old and has dedicated his life to promoting economic development, education, and social justice in his community. Moses, who grew up in Tembisa, witnessed personally the difficulties that many people in his community confront. He learned the value of hard work and knowledge while growing up in a modest home. "My parents taught me that true wealth lies in giving back to your community." Moses reflects. His leadership journey has been guided by this lesson. Moses started out as a teacher and soon saw that local students were not receiving an adequate education.
